All Weight Loss Strategies Can Work. This is because they all insist that you eat fewer calories than you burn and reduce your sugar intake.  Some people count their calories. Some people only eat during certain times of the day. It is not scientifically possible to lose weight if you are eating more calories than you burn. Science also supports that having lower insulin levels will play a big part in losing weight. Less sugar means lower insulin levels.  It doesn't matter if the sugar comes in the form of heavy starch, cake, or putting sugar directly on (or in) your food and drinks. The problem people usually have is with controlling it, maintaining it, or being consistent with it.

Make Rules For Yourself. Set boundaries. Don't just jump into your weight loss journey without being sure of what you WILL NOT do. Always intend to stick to your rules. I understand that people fall off but, get right back to your set of rules if you do. Discipline is one of the major parts of this journey. You have to know what you are (and are not) going to be doing, so you can discipline yourself into following the rules. 

You Can Not Out-Exercise Poor Eating Habits. Exercise is for muscle building, toning, and strengthening. Though a benefit of exercise and weight lifting is burning calories, it is not the main component. Don't be alarmed because your weight can come from water weight and muscle gain. Just keep in mind that clean eating is needed to reduce fat. 

 Live Like You're At Your Goal Weight. If you want to be 20 lbs lighter, live as if you are already. Train your body like a person who is 20lbs lighter. Eat like a person would if they were 20 lbs lighter than you are right now. This will condition you to live like this long term, instead of making it a short-term mission.





Looking for a fast way to get the weight off without any aftercare plans, is a sure way to gain the weight back. Saying that being fit requires making your routine a lifestyle, may seem cliche but it is true. It's a journey. Considering the 4 things in this article is a great place to start.
