Protein Pancakes and Turkey Sausage

"I Don't Have To Tell You I Love You. I Fed You Pancakes 🥰"

Protein Pancakes (Ready Made Pancake Mix)

Ingredients:

  •  Pancake mix: The quantity will depend on how many pancakes you want to make. One serving is made with a half cup of pancake mix.

  • Liquid: I use water to keep the calories at the amount I expect them to be. Remember any ingredient will add calories and you won't get the weight loss that you expected.

  • Butter or oil: Spray oil that has a 0-calorie label is usually my choice.

Remember to always check the instructions on the pancake mix package as different brands may have different requirement

Instructions:

  1. Gather your ingredients: You'll typically need your pancake mix, water, milk, and some oil for the pan.

  2. Prepare the batter: In a large bowl, combine the pancake mix with the water. Stir until it's just combined. The batter should still be a bit lumpy.

  3. Heat the pan: Place a non-stick frying pan or griddle over medium-high heat. Spray a small amount of oil into the pan.

  4. Cook the pancakes: For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot pan. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip the pancake and cook until golden brown on the other side.

  5. Serve: Serve the pancakes warm with sugar-free syrup but, my favorite is unsweetened applesauce.

Brown and Serve Frozen Sausages

Ingredients:

  • Ready Cooked, Frozen Sausages

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the sausages to the skillet. Make sure they are not overcrowded and have enough space to cook evenly.

  3. Cook the sausages for about 10-15 minutes, turning them frequently with a spatula to ensure they brown evenly on all sides.

  4. Once the sausages are browned and heated through, they are ready to serve.

Remember, the key to delicious "Brown and Serve" sausages is to cook them slowly and evenly. Enjoy your meal!
